Music Lessons Description PRIVATE LESSONS  Private lessons are offered on all popular instruments/piano,guitar,violin,flute, clarinet/ and voice.  We have found that private one-on-one instruction allows students to progress at their own pace and gain the best understanding of musical techniques. Student can start private lessons as young as 5 years old. Students can start private lessons any time of the year or month so there's no need to wait to get started. A variety of styles are taught such as pop, jazz, rock and classical. Contact the school office in your location to see which times and days are available Exam Preparation  If students wish they may take optional exams offered by the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM). The Royal Conservatory is a national testing board that is based in Toronto. The RCM allows students to test for certain grades in an instrument or voice. Exams are held 3 times per year at various locations around Mississauga and Oakville. Most of our students choose to learn their instrument recreationally and do not take exams. If a student does wish to take an exam our school can fully prepare them for any level of testing. We have helped hundreds of student complete exams successfully Kindermusik  Music and movement program for children ages: newborn - 7. The classes cover:  singing & moving , playing  percussion instruments, rhythm sticks, jingle bells, drums, resonator boars, older students learn to play glockenspiels, dulcimers and recorders, exploring timbre, dynamics, tempo and pitch which lays the foundation for conceptualization of the elements of music. Music for Little Mozarts  This preschool music program is a fun, group class for children ages 4-6, designed to teach the basics of music. The course centres on adventures of Mozart Mouse and Beethoven Bear as they learn about music. As their adventures unfold throughout each book, they introduce the students to new musical concepts and piano performance pieces. Skills taught in the course focus on piano performance, listening, singing,  piano technique, rhythm, movement and music appreciation. Theory Classes: Classes are taught in preparation for exams in all levels of Royal Conservatory theory, history, harmony, counterpoint, and analysis. Music Programs for Babies, toddlers and preschoolers: From newborn, children are exposed to the basics of music in a fun supportive group environment.
